1. Court Office Hours on Working Days
The Supreme Court offices are open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except during vacations, Saturdays, and holidays.
No non-urgent work is admitted after 4:30 PM.

2. Saturday Hours
On Saturdays (excluding vacation Saturdays), offices are open 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with no non-urgent work accepted after 12:00 Noon.

3. Office Hours During Vacations and Special Holidays
During summer vacation, Christmas and New Year holidays, and other such periods (except days declared holidays for both the Court and its offices), the Court offices will be open as directed by the Chief Justice.

4. Court Terms and Vacations
The Court sits in two terms each year:
The first term begins after summer vacation and continues until the day before the Christmas/New Year holidays.
The second term begins after the winter holidays and continues until the start of summer vacation.
The summer vacation shall not exceed seven weeks, and the total number of holidays (excluding Sundays not falling in vacation or holidays) should not exceed 103 days, as fixed by the Chief Justice and notified in the Official Gazette.

5. Vacation-Hearing Arrangements
The Chief Justice may appoint one or more Judges to hear urgent matters during vacations or holidays under a single-judge Bench, or designate a Division Court if needed for urgent cases.

Amendment Rules, 2025
Effective 14 July 2025, revised Rules 1–3 substitute as follows:
1. On regular working days (not partial working days or holidays): Offices open 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no non-urgent work after 4:30 PM.
2. Saturdays (excluding partial working days): Offices open 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with no non-urgent work after 12:00 Noon.
3. During partial working days and Christmas/New Year holidays, office hours are as directed by the Chief Justice.
