Highly Condemnable and Absolutely Intolerable:
The shocking incident where a lawyer attempted to throw a shoe at Hon’ble Chief Justice of India Justice Gavai is deeply disturbing and shameful. Such unruly behaviour strikes at the dignity and sanctity of the Supreme Court of India.
Dr. Anthony Raju, Advocate, Supreme Court and Chairman, Indian National Human Rights Protection Council, strongly condemned the act, stating —
> “This is absolutely not tolerable. The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and the Bar Council of India (BCI) must take the toughest disciplinary action to preserve the honour, integrity, and decorum of the judiciary.”
